This is a letter written by Henrietta Matson addressed to Elizabeth Spence. In this letter, Matson describes how she understands her missionary efforts in India as intertwined with her time as a professor at Fisk. Although she regards South Asia as "Satan's domain," Matson understands her work in India and Burma as a type of continuation of her work in the States.
